About the process

The making of the Book

The idea was born when Barcelona was chosen to host the 37th America’s Cup. That event triggered the challenge of marrying two passions -sailing and pop-up books- into a new editorial project at Lupita Books. A couple months after that, the concept for the book took its final shape and we started creating.

The development of this splendid project is the work of an enthusiastic team of experts:

A paper engineer who loves challenges
An expert writer on sports-sailing
An illustrator to create beautiful art for the pop-ups and and technical drawings
A designer to present the content in a coherent and attractive layout
